About Me

Hi, I’m Kyle Carbonell — a senior software engineer and coding instructor passionate about building products that solve real-world problems. I’ve worked on full-stack applications, designed scalable backends, and mentored developers to write clean, maintainable code. Whether I’m creating tools for students at UC Davis or optimizing complex systems, I enjoy turning ideas into impactful, user-friendly solutions.

My web development journey started with a drive to create user-focused solutions that blend functionality and simplicity. As a senior software engineer, I’ve built scalable backends, intuitive frontends, and led projects like Clubly, where technology directly improved the student experience.

My tech stack includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Svelte, Go, Deno, and Hono, alongside tools like ShadCN for clean, modern interfaces. I’m committed to exploring new technologies and design approaches to ensure every project remains both impactful and future-ready.

My Stack

Svelte is my go-to framework for building dynamic, high-performance web applications. It streamlines development by compiling components into efficient JavaScript, making apps faster and more responsive while keeping the codebase clean and maintainable.
